Louisiana Craft Butchers is a small newcomer with big ideas in the local specialty meat processing business. They will be investing in the food culture of Louisiana through online and on-site classes, cooking demonstrations, and a charitable affiliation with Hogs For The Cause through their Tailgate Tigers charity.
To help bring their product to the masses, we built a robust e-commerce website on the WordPress/WooCommerce platform with many custom features including customer account creation and management, handling cost configurations based on weights, and real-time shipping cost estimates, and too many more to mention. In addition to those behind the scenes enhancements, we spent a lot of time on the product images and graphics. Sausage is not easy to dress up, but with a lot of help from the client, we were able to create some mouth-watering images for the home page to get customers excited about sausage.
