Rio homepage
We built a website for Houston based Rio Marine, Inc. in 2016, replacing their original, outdated website. The company had just added a second division, Rio Controls & Hydraulics, and they needed a new site to showcase both divisions. They've experienced a recent growth spurt, and they now have four independent divisions that allow Rio to provide service for all of their client's marine needs.
We worked with them to plan a new website that would market Rio as the company's umbrella brand, while allowing each division to have an independent web presence. The home page is branded as the umbrella entity "Rio" with the four service divisions having their own single page websites.
Early Rio home layout proof and wireframe
Some goals of the website included:
- Maintaining a consistent presence throughout
- Providing easy access to location and contact information for clients and vendors
- Adding a front-end editing component for easy updating by Rio staff
The new site was published to rave reviews in November 2023 just in time for the annual New Orleans Workboat Show. All of the above goals were met, and visitors to the Rio booth praised the site's ease of use and sensible layout.
