I Design has had the pleasure to work with the New Orleans Botanical Garden's Magic in the Moonlight event since 2011. In that time, we've designed the invitation for every event. We've also designed a Magic in the Moonlight website, logos, letterhead, icons, programs, advertisements, and digital graphics.
For many years, we used a photo of the previous year's event on the front of the invitation and other printed items. The outdoor event space is beautiful and includes long tables set up in the axis of the garden, as you can see in the 2013 invitation below. It was easy for us to pick a photo – they're all beautiful and show off the uniqueness of the exquisite moonlit dinner.
For the 2022 event, we worked with Rebecca and Casie at New Orleans City Park to come up with an eye-catching new design. The first round of proofs included a picture from the previous year as seen below.
But they wanted something different for 2022, and we came up with a completely new design that showed off the uniqueness of the event in the four picture layout (below). A spot UV coating gave the moon (center circle) a shimmering look.
We're already looking forward to working with them again in 2023!
